Mila Maintenance celebrates its 21st anniversary this month.  In 1988, it set about persuading clients in the public sector that window and door repair and maintenance was a greener and more sustainable solution than replacement and its ongoing success is testament to the power of that message.

More and more clients, including many members of the LHC, now routinely opt for the repair of their windows and doors – whether they are in PVC-U, timber, steel or aluminium – rather than replacement. This saves on costs, waste and resources and means much less upheaval for tenants.  Typically, sealed units are replaced to make the windows more efficient, hardware is upgraded to make them safer and more secure and gaskets and weatherstrips are replaced to improve both sound and thermal insulation.

Mila Maintenance has a network of highly trained maintenance engineers operating across the UK who provide either planned maintenance to upgrade and refurbish failing windows and doors, regular maintenance to ensure that they remain working safely and efficiently or emergency maintenance if repairs are urgent.

These engineers are trained to accommodate the needs of tenants throughout the repair and refurbishment process and to provide an exceptional standard of service and workmanship. Spencer Steadman, a Project Surveyor at Anchor Trust, commented on a recent project:  “Mila Maintenance completed the works with total professionalism.  Their staff were always courteous, delivered the programme on time and were always clean and tidy.”
