MILA MAINTENANCE ACHIEVES HEALTH & SAFETY ACCREDITATION

Mila Maintenance has achieved two further independent endorsements of the quality of its health and safety procedures.

The window and door maintenance company has been awarded both CHAS (Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme) accreditation and EXOR compliance certification recently.

Dave Cooke, Projects Director at Mila Maintenance, says:  “The CHAS scheme is designed specifically for contract pre-qualification assessments so is particularly useful for buyers in the public sector, while the EXOR scheme is intended to offer reassurance to all commercial buyers that the supplier they are choosing has complied with the relevant Health and Safety legislation.

“We are confident that both schemes will help us to secure new business, particularly given the fact that all of our maintenance engineers are also NVQ qualified and specifically trained in health and safety.”

Mila Maintenance provides a nationwide window and door maintenance service to local authorities, social housing providers, government and commercial organisations.   It has specific expertise in working at height and can provide a complete maintenance, repair and refurbishment service.

CHAS Accreditation

CHAS aims to improve health and safety standards across Great Britain and to reduce duplicated safety applications for both suppliers and buyers.

As part of our CHAS accreditation the following areas have been assessed:

   1. Our health and safety policy statement
   2. Our organisation for health and safety
   3. Our specific health and safety arrangements to a specified standard
